Sing for Pleasure has joined forces with Baz Chapman, former Sing Up Project Director to launch a new product for Music Hubs, The Vocal Leadership Training Programme.
We’re pleased to announce that for the third year running we have been awarded grant funding to support young choral conductors in their training. Successful applicants will attend a year’s worth of fully funded SfP conducting courses, additionally furthering their skills with practical opportunities between courses.
The National Teacher’s Choir is the brainchild of choral conductor and SfP Head of Events Ula Weber, and ex- Programme Director of Sing Up, Baz Chapman. The choir launched in February 2015 with SfP as a key partner. Here, Angie Jones shares her experience from the first weekend’s singing in Walsall.
