The Sing for Pleasure choir visit Palma

Our annual overseas took place at the end of September 2013 and took in the sights and sounds of Palma. The setting for this years trip was nothing short of spectacular with our concert taking place in La Sue, the gothic Roman Catholic cathedral on the city’s harbour front.

We’ve got some big news… we turn 50 next year and are planning a year of suitable singing events and celebrations befitting of our advancing years! We’ll be revealing our full calendar of activities soon but in the meantime we’re giving you some advance notice of our main singing event, which will take place in Bolton on May 10th 2014. Please save the date, we’d love to see you there.

Young Conductor Scholarships announced

We’re delighted to announce six recipients of our Young Conductors’ programme.

We received funding from a number of charitable trusts and foundations to get this programme started and we have now officially launched the scheme.

Our Young Conductors are Neil Balfour, Nick Graham, Joshua Cirtina, Caroline Challis, Michael Betteridge and Helen Briggs.
