Now booking! Our second training weekend for 2020 returns to Bromsgrove School, and offers graded choral conducting courses to cater for all levels of ability, along with our Musicianship for Singers course at Foundation level.

Each conducting course running during the weekend provides a stimulating and encouraging learning environment in which participants can develop their skills and discover new techniques. Courses will be held at Foundation, Intermediate 1 and 2 and Advanced levels  – so whether you’re new to choral conducting, or you’re looking to build on knowledge gleaned on previous SfP courses, there’s a suitable training opportunity on offer for everyone.

In addition, we are offering our Musicianship for Singers Course at Foundation level, for those who would like to gain an understanding of music theory from a singer’s perspective and develop sight reading skills. If you are unsure which MfS course level is right for you to start at, please email the programme leader to check.

More information the courses running, including fees and suggested overnight accommodation, can be found in the West Midlands Weekend 2020 brochure.
