Course Description

SfP KnowledgeHub weekly webinars, led by our team of tutors, are designed to give you a host of useful tips and suggestions on a wide range of choral topics to put into practice when Covid-19 lockdown measures ease. Each webinar will take place on a Wednesday at 7.00pm BST and is scheduled to last for 40 minutes; the dates and topics for the second series are shown below:

Wednesday 27 May (F) –  The Singing School, led by Miles-Wallis Clarke *already held*

Wednesday 3 June (G) –  Musicianship for Singers: Reading Rhythm, led by Rebecca Berkley *already held*

Wednesday 10 June (H) – Warm-Ups & Gathering Songs, led by Ula Weber *already held*

Wednesday 17 June (I) – Music & Memories, led by Jane Hampson *already held*

Wednesday 24 June (J) – Tackling a Major Work: Handel’s Messiah, led by Manvinder Rattan
Planning the rehearsals, framing the dress rehearsal and getting the best Messiah performance you can. Please note: Manvinder will be referring to the Watkins Shaw edition during the webinar.

You can sign up for as many webinars as you choose, for a small fee of £5 each. Once we’ve received your payment upon booking via the application form below, your place is secured; if you choose to sign up to individual webinars, booking and payment can be made right up to 5:00pm on the day.  A link to join in and a password will be emailed to you, two hours before the start of each webinar.
