We’re delighted to confirm details of our scholarship recipients for this year’s Young Conductors Programme – originally funding was secured for five places, but the excellent credentials of the final six made it impossible to choose between them, and an additional scholarship has been funded from reserves.

Following Elisabeth Brierley’s appointment to a new post outside Sing for Pleasure, we’re looking for a replacement to fill this pivotal voluntary role, providing comprehensive support to Manvinder Rattan in his capacity as Head of Conductor Training.
In conjunction with ABRSM, we are delighted to announce today that our Advanced Conducting Course will now offer a direct pathway to the LRSM in Choral Directing. ABRSM examiners will be assessing defined rehearsals and performances for the first time at this year’s Summer School, which runs at Keele University from 11 to 19 August.
