In case you missed our “save the date” announcement on social media before Christmas, we’re delighted to say that Manvinder Rattan – our CEO & Head of Conductor Training – is scheduled to make his conducting debut at New York City’s prestigious Carnegie Hall, on Monday 2 December 2019.
The concert will feature the US premiere of Alan Woods’ This Joyous Night, with professional orchestra and some 200 or more singers from around the globe; longstanding members and course attendees will recall that former SfP tutor Alan was commissioned to write this enchanting piece for the John Lewis Partnership, back in 1998.
What’s more: YOU have the opportunity to take part on 2 December! Ensembles of excellence – both amateur and professional – and individual singers are now invited to join this milestone event for Manvinder at Carnegie Hall, under his baton.
Those interested in taking part should email Jeff Binner of Distinguished Concerts International New York (DCINY), who is coordinating directly with Manvinder. Alternatively, Jeff can be reached by phone on 001.212.707.8566 ext. 317.
We are thrilled that DCINY, a production agency based in New York City, is working in tandem with Manvinder, supported by the SfP team, to make this exciting concert happen. DCINY has a unique concert production model where individual performers share in the underwriting of the event by way of a per person performance registration fee.

Participants are also welcome to look into their own travel and accommodation arrangements.
